Higher Education Digital Capability Framework
An open-source framework segmenting digital capability for higher education institutions across 4 dimensions, 16 domains, and approximately 70 capabilities. Organised along the learner lifecycle: People and Systems, Demand and Discovery, Digital Design and Experience, and Work and Lifelong Learning.
Universities use the HEDC Framework to map and measure digital capabilities, identify strengths, prioritise areas of focus, and support digital transformation strategies. The interactive web version includes detailed capability descriptions for each of the 16 domains.
